Somerhill

Somerhill came together almost by accident. The members of the band were all leading very separate lives when one day we all decided to get together and jam. After jammin one night, we had written 3 full songs. The next day, we decided to become a band. We came up with the name, Somerhill because of a cheap yet fun night at a bar in a little town with that name. Thus here we are 2 years later. We are a mix of many styles, jazz, funk, rock, jam and others. We pride ourselves on live performances. We feel that true justice is done when we play out live. We currently have one cd, "New Disease" out and are in the process of mastering a new release. We've had article in numeous newspapers and magezines. We've also plyed on the same billet with Chris Daughtry and have hosted international acts such as "Dirty On Purpose" and the "Joel Lindsey Band" in the Pittsburgh area.
